The National Leader Heydar Aliyev was commemorated at ASAN Service.

On July 20, 2019, the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, jointly with Narimanov District Department of New Azerbaijan Party, organized an event to mark 50th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev`s coming to power.

Firstly, participants laid flowers to the monument of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Chairman of the State Agency, Ulvi Mehdiyev stated that coming to the power in 1969, Heydar Aliyev led Azerbaijan to a notable turning point starting complex reforms which provided dynamic and thorough developments. There was discussed the National Leader Heydar Aliyev`s exceptional role in establishing independent Azerbaijan, his life, as well as statism activities. It was noted that statism strategy, which has very rich political heritage, founded by the National Leader, has been maintained by the President Ilham Aliyev on development of our country.

Chairman of YAP Youth Union, Seymur Orujov talked about reforms done by Heydar Aliyev on the development of Azerbaijan. He noted that being the author of current successful state youth policy, Heydar Aliyev would pay huge attention to youth.

Reserve Colonels of the State Security Service, Arif Zeynalov and Ibrahim Shirinov shared their memories about the time they used to work with the Nationwide Leader, Heydar Aliyev.

Chairman of Narimanov District Department of YAP Youth Union, Temraz Taghiyev spoke about strengthening of our independence, achieving comprehensive development, improvement in the social status of the population under Heydar Aliyev`s governance.

There was exhibited a video dedicated to Heydar Aliyev`s life and statism activities.

Afterwards, the event continued with presentation on ASAN Volunteering School and familiarization with ASAN Service centre.

Moreover, to get acquainted with “Green ASAN” programme, participants were taken to an excursion to Sumgait District ASAN Service centre, as well as Paper Recycling Enterprise
