“ASAN service” hosted “Korean Food Festival”

“Korean Food Festival” was conducted on June 8, 2016, within joint organization by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Azerbaijan,   State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

“Korean Food Festival” was conducted on June 8, 2016, within joint organization by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Azerbaijan,   State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Abulfas Garayev by his key note mentioned, that today the role of Azerbaijan in the field of multiculturalism is highly appreciated and cuisine traditions in our country is appreciated as a cultural field. According to Minister, organization of cultural days in both counties is a praise-worthy initiative.

Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mr. Chang Que during his speech emphasized, that the sorts of Korean cuisine which had been demonstrated are special examples and this type of events enhances cultural relations between the countries, giving a chance to get acquainted with the cuisine traditions of both nations.

Chairman of the State Agency, Mr. Inam Karimov highlighted, that Azerbaijan carries out traditions of multiculturalism and respects not only its culture but culture of other nations too. During his speech, he mentioned, that since establishment of “ASAN service”, it served to thousands people including Korean citizens.

In the frame of festival Korean cooks were given certificates and guests tasted various dishes of Korean cuisine.
