“ASAN service” was presented at Human Dimension Committee

On 30 October, Delegation of Azerbaijan presented a voluntary report at the OSCE Human Dimension Committee, on Modernization of Public Services in Azerbaijan.

Kamran Agasi, the Director of ASAN Innovations Center shared with the participants Azerbaijan achievements in transforming public service delivery in the recent years. He stressed on the fact that “ASAN service” basing its work on key principles of Accessibility, Accountability, Efficiency, Transparency and Innovation.

During the presentation, it was stated that “ASAN service” developed number of communication channels to encourage public participation and enhance feedback mechanisms. It was also mentioned that Azerbaijan has very successful case on engaging the youth population involving volunteers the public service delivery, with significant female participation which positively contributes to the gender balances in the society. It was stressed that Azerbaijan recently upgraded its Visa regulations and launched ASAN visa portal through which foreign citizens can get entry visa within 3 hours. Presentation was followed by the questions and answers session.

In final remarks, Ambassador Galib Israfilov also provided his support to ASAN’s achievements and stressed that Azerbaijan became a role model in public service delivery, where ASAN has become a recognized international brand.
