100-year-old applicant of “ASAN Visa” in “ASAN service”

On September 12, 2018, applicant of “ASAN Visa” - 100-year-old Israeli citizen Danon Yaakov, got acquainted with activities of “ASAN service” center.

Yaakov came to our country as a tourist, and applied for electronic visa issuance for foreigners and stateless persons via the “ASAN Visa” system.

Wide information about the activities and aims of establishment of "ASAN service" was delivered to the guest. There was emphasized, that with the establishment of "ASAN service" there have been achieved serious steps in the field of provision of efficient public administration through enhancing of transparency and application of innovations.

It was noted that up to now, applications of 24 millionth citizen have been received. Additionally, it was drawn to attention that “ASAN service” received United Nations Public Service Award 2015.

Employees of the airports provide services to foreigners and stateless persons traveling to our country in Azerbaijani, English, French, Spanish, German, Turkish, Indian, Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, Urdu, Norwegian, and Russian languages.

The issuance of visas for foreigners at the airports via "ASAN Visa" self-service terminals has been started on May 15, 2018. So far, in total more than 760,700 visas have been issued – over 587,500 visas through “ASAN Visa” portal, and over 173,200 visas in the airports.

The guest also got acquainted with “ABAD” exhibition and sales center.
