“Dance of Victory” short film premieres as a joint project of ASAN TV and “Writers’ House” Literature Support Foundation
The red-carpet gala premiere of the short feature film “Dance of Victory” took place at the Nizami Cinema Center. This film, produced by ASAN TV under the initiative of the “Ədibin Evi” (Writers’ House) Literature Support Foundation, commemorates the 5th anniversary of the significant Victory achieved during the Patriotic War, with expert assistance from the YASHAT Foundation throughout its production.
Adapted from the short story “Heyvagulu” by the late author Yashar Bunyad, a winner of the Mir Jalal Literary Contest, the film depicts the life of a veteran following the war.
Directed by Geray Hasan and financially supported by the “Balakhani Operating Company”, the film boasts a prominent cast that includes Azer Aydemir, Gunay Ahmed, Nurlan Murselzade, and Niyaz Ilyasoglu.
The premiere attracted notable guests, such as Adiba Pashayeva, the Founder of the “Ədibin Evi” Literature Support Foundation; Hafiz Pashayev, the Rector of ADA University; Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Minister of Culture Adil Karimli; Members of Parliament (Milli Majlis); veterans of the Patriotic War; cultural figures; and other esteemed attendees.
The short feature film “Dance of Victory” is set to air for television audiences across the nation on Victory Day – November 8 – on the “İctimai TV” channel.
