The annual report of “ASAN Service” for the year 2024 has been officially presented
On March 11, 2025, an event was organized at the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the operation of the “ASAN Application” information system.
The event was dedicated to the summary of operation carried out within the framework of the relevant system during 2024.
Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, emphasized that ensuring citizen satisfaction has always been a priority in the operation of “ASAN Service”, which was established at the personal initiative of a President Ilham Aliyev, and noted that modern technologies and solutions are utilized to achieve this goal. He highlighted the particular importance of the “ASAN Application” platform in enhancing the communication between citizens and public institutions, emphasizing that applications and needs are addressed promptly and with innovative solutions.
Subsequently, letters of appreciation were presented to various institutions recognized for their efficiency in handling applications, to active citizens and to ASAN volunteers who provide special support.
The “ASAN Application” information system was established based on Decree №2232 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated August 21, 2020, with the aim of ensuring public participation and effectively forwarding citizens’ requests to relevant government agencies through the electronic services.
The main functionality of the system and its mobile application is to record applications related to public issues such as communal, road, and transportation problems, current infrastructure repairs, landscaping and cleanliness on an electronic map, and to operatively send them to the relevant government institutions, and to monitor the outcomes of these application.
Currently, the “ASAN Application” information system, with the participation of 97 institutitons, facilitates the reception and appropriate routing of applications across the country (excluding the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic). To date, nearly 25,000 users have registered via the “ASAN Application” mobile application.
The mobile application is available for download on both iOS and Android operating systems.
