The presentation of the movie entitled “We are Khojaly” initiated by Sumgayit “ASAN service” volunteers was launched. The presentation of the movie entitled “We are Khojaly” initiated by Sumgayit “ASAN service” volunteers was launched.Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov spoke about the Khojaly tragedy as a blood memory in the history, the atrocities committed by Armenians, and emphasized the role of the International Awareness Campaign “Justice for Khojaly” initiated by the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Leyla Aliyeva in bringing to the attention of the world community the truth about the Khojaly genocide. He called young people to contribute to the public awareness about the Khojaly genocide, and support this campaign. Also, the Head of Executive Power of the region Khojaly, Shahmar Usubov spoke about the history of the tragedy, importance of such documental movies in recognizing the Khojaly genocide by international community. A documental movie reflecting the realities of Khojaly genocide was demonstrated at the end of the event. Should note, that movie entitled “We are Khojaly” will be broadcasted on ATV channel on February 26, at 19:10.
