Panel discussion on “Artificial vs. Natural Intelligence” held at the ASAN Innovative Development Center
The ASAN Innovative Development Center (AIIM), under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, hosted this moderated debate focusing on the theme of “Artificial and Natural Intelligence”.
The main goal of the event was to encourage in-depth discussions regarding the significant effects of swiftly evolving artificial intelligence technologies on human creativity, cognitive processes, and innate intelligence.
Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, was also in attendance.
The discussion was moderated by Gunel Aliyeva, Country Director of FutureBright, and featured distinguished speakers such as writer Aghshin Yenisey, World Memory Champion Orkhan Ibadov, and Nofal Aliyev, Chief Public Relations Specialist at the Innovations Center.
During the engaging debate, participants shared their perspectives on the influence of artificial intelligence in human endeavors, its creative capabilities, fundamental distinctions from natural intelligence, and potential long-term effects on society. Advocates for both artificial and natural intelligence supported their viewpoints with scientific research, personal experiences, and real-world examples.
