Declaration of Intent on Establishment of ASAN International Associatıon was signed
Declaration of Intent on Establishment of ASAN International Association was signed within the UN Public Service Forum held in Baku on June 24, 2019.
The initiator of the establishment of the ASAN International Association is the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The document was signed by Morocco, Montenegro, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Turkey, Uganda, Azerbaijan and United Arab Emirates.
With the creation of ASAN International Association, the exceptional role of sharing knowledge, expertise and experience on public service delivery will be highlighted, the importance of transparent and effective delivery of public services for sustainable development as well as the need for continuous exchange of accumulated international and regional experiences in the area of public service delivery will be realized.
Within the creation of the Declaration of Intent, an institutional platform will be established for continuous exchange of best practices and expertise in the relevant field, as well as promotion of innovations in the provision of public services will be implemented.
Representatives of Partner countries participating in the signing of the Declaration of Intent expressed their gratitude to the State Agency for the Establishment of the ASAN International Association's Founding meeting, emphasizing the exceptional importance of this initiative.
On June 24-26, the United Nations and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan jointly holds the United Nations Public Service Forum at Heydar Aliyev Center.
The forum is the first UN event being organized in Azerbaijan, in the field of public services.
